2001 Trek 4900

This bike has been sitting in my back yard dying since before I moved in here last fall. Bought it off my roommate for cheap and started the rebuild process. Now I have a mountain bike again! Just stripped and polished the frame!

Frame:
2001 Trek 4900

Fork/Headset:
Rock Shox Ruby TT 100mm travel // Aheadset

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Truvativ Stylo 175mm // GxP

Pedals:
Xpedo Spry

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
8 spd SRAM cassette 11-32 // 32T RaceFace Narow-Wide // SRAM 8spd chain

Derailleurs/Shifters:
Shimano Deore LX SGS // Shimano Alivio RapidFire Plus

Handlebars/Stem:
RaceFace Evolve // RaceFace Ride 70mm x 6 deg

Saddle/Seatpost:
WTB 29er // Bontrager

Brakes:
ProMax Calipers // Avid FR-5 Levers

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Shimano hubs // Bontrager Corvair Rims // Maxxis 26"x2.31"

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Shimano hubs // Bontrager Corvair Rims // Maxxis 26"x2.31"

Accessories:
ODI x Vans Lock-On Grips

More Info:
I plan on outfitting this frame with entirely modern components. I can install disc brakes but I need a Trek adapter bracket for the back, so I'm gonna get a disc wheelset and some Avid BB5 Calipers. I want to run it 1x10 with a SRAM X9 group, and a cheapish 120mm fork.

they're not super sick mtb sw4g tho.

but really I have these avids and nothing else to put 'em on so i'm probably gonna use 'em for this. unless I find the money for a cx build soon, then maybe I'll keep the v brakes.
