B17s are meant for riding when your bars and saddle are pretty much level (or even bars higher)

That Raleigh with a b17 is silly if you ask me- given the decent amount of saddle to bar drop....which is probably why his is a tad nose down.

look...i'm not gonna tell you what works for you...but just about every owner of a new brooks b17 will have the saddle tilted upwards a bit until it's nice and broken in...until the sit bone dents form....or else you just slide forward. this is the 8th b17 i've owned on as many bikes, and this is what works for me (and many other people)....
