your saddle is way too high in your video. youll go faster if you lower it a smudge, and youll be more comfortable.

What Orengard said is a big pile of bullshit. Anyhoo, it will provide a cushier ride as your weight is almost always centered over the rear end of the bike. A 28c tire is generally more durable than a comparable 25c, and so on.

@kim its the same princaple as a mtb with a slic tyre versus a roadie.. with the same gearing the roadie will travel faster becouse the wheels are bigger so each pedal stroke the wheels goes further

He was thinking of 650 vs. 700c rims, 700c weighs more but accelerates quicker,and 25 is more forgiving than 20c but the only reason I wouldn't do it personally is because the extra soft-ness will absorb some of your output force
