Appel Special Custom Track

Mike Appel was an original frame builder for the Trek bicycle factory. He later started Appel Racing Cycles where he built frames such as this one.

Frame:
Appel Special Custom. Columbus SL/SP tubing. SP was used on the downtube and chainstays and SL was used on the rest.

Fork/Headset:
Appel lugged fork, Campagnolo Record headset

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Campagnolo Record Pista crankset, Campagnolo Record Pista bottom bracket

Pedals:
Time ATAC Alium

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
Sugino 75 S-Cubic chainring, unknown cog, Izumi chain

Handlebars/Stem:
3TTT Mod Grand Prix bars, 3TTT stem

Saddle/Seatpost:
Cinelli Unicantor saddle, SR seatpost

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Campagnolo Shamal 16 Track, Vittoria Corsa Evo tire

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Campagnolo Shamal 16 Track, Vittoria Corsa Evo tire
