get a new brake that doesn't weight 1/2 lb? or just chuck it, cars are idiot cars and will hit you regardless of a brake, so chuck it if it ain't illegal in your area and truly ride fixed

Brake has been off for a while now. It didn't get used. Current set up is towards the bottom.

Very nice bike. Good call on the brake too. Lots of lighter and prettier ones out there if it is really a problem but always a good idea on the street. Like you say, stuff happens.

Thanks man. I always contemplate buying a few lighter parts (saddle, bar, brake, pedals, seatpost) and getting the thing down into the low 14lb range, but it just seems crazy when I'm so happy with it the way it is. I dig your bikes by the way.

Whats the sizing like for these frames? I'm looking at a 56cm on CL right now and am wondering it they run a bit big. What's your inseam? Thanks

MikeyxVx says:

They run a little big for sure. I'm 5'10" with a 6'2" wingspan. My last bike was a 58 (langster pro). My leg extension is 94cm (too of saddle to pedal spindle). Not sure if that helps.

I've had an eye out for one for years and kept finding them in the wrong size (I found capos for 3 other friends before this one popped up). It was listed locally and a buddy bought it; my friends went in on it for me.
