Paul Component Engineering in Chico makes great components, and every now and then they drop a number of their parts in a temporary colorway. About a year ago they released a purple colorway that was reminiscent of a lot of popular bmx models in the 80's. A few months after the Paul drop, Factory Five out of Shanghai released their pista track hunearly a nearly identical purple anodize. I asked a local mechanic (Tyler @ City Bike Works in Sacramento) to build the wheels for me since I just moved and didn't have a shop setup yet... Here's the results with all the purple added to the gray & green frameset.
