eBay Carbon road bike

Two years ago one of my brothers got hit by a car while he was riding his 2008 Specialized Tarmac Comp road bike. Fortunatly, He didn't get injured but the frame was a total lost. My parent's insurance gave him a brand new replacement bike and I grabbed the Shimano groupset that was still in great shape. Earlier this year, I began building a road bike with the components I had and ended with this pretty nice setup. Total weight to come... stay tuned ;-)

Glad your brother was okay after the accident, even though the bike wasn't so lucky. It's pretty cool how you managed to salvage the Shimano groupset and use it to build a new road bike. Sounds like the insurance did a solid job in handling the situation. If anyone's in a similar spot and needs help with insurance stuff, giving brightway Insurance customer service https://www.pissedconsumer.com/company/... a shout might be good. Looking forward to seeing the total weight of your new setup!
