this is amazing! how many people have build their own carbon frame at home? also I dig your style: I can't say I haven't done zipties over inner tube before (:

PS those chainstays look scary thin

Thanks dude! It wouldn't be nice to have some thicker chainstays but these are stiff enough for the power I'm putting out. I'll be shaping my own chainstays on my next frame which is exciting

Why tubeless for a road/track set up?

hwattsnola says:

Because I wanted to give road tubeless a try, the lower rolling resistance and puncture protection sounded quite appealing

So for the joints what other material did you use? did you use like uni stand and wrap it around the joint?

Yep, it was unidirectional 24k? carbon ribbon

So here's the epoxy I used. https://entropyresins.com/product/super...
I had it left over from the bamboo project which I was trying to keep nice and eco friendly (which is kind of a moot point on a carbon frame) but I've seen people use West System 105 which I think is cheaper

The carbon ribbon was from these guys http://www.fibreglast.com/product/24K_C...

and I'll post the build pictures for this one and the bamboo frame when I have the chance to track them all down

Here's the method I used to make my bamboo and carbon frames. https://bamboobike.wordpress.com/
To make things like canties the easiest thing to do is to wrap and compress carbon around a form. The main problem with this method is that you can't control your outer tolerances. That being said If you took your time and did your research it would be plausible to make some carbon components, even without a whole lot of expertise. If you do decide to make some let me know, I'd be happy to give advice where I can
