This was legally cut off, with the assistance and permission of BART Police.

Congrats on getting it back. What's the details? Did police catch the kid? Was it abandoned? Was it on craigslist?

Thanks! It was locked up at a BART (public transportation center) station. Realizing it was mine, I called Alameda Police, Oakland police, and Bart police. With their help and a week of waiting, I now legally cut the lock off the bike and got it back. It was double locked at that point, with a sign telling the owner to contact the police. He never did.

Yeah, i really do love aluminum. Its light, and the shape of the aluminum frame makes it as strong as a steel frame
