It's awesome. I've got 2 Makinos. I want to ask about the 172.5 cranks. I have a set of 172.5s on one bike, but I'm tall and my frame is a 58.5 c-t-t. Most track bikes on this site run short cranks. I'm always interested to see someone opt for long cranks, and obviously you know your sh#t.

Always have preferred longer cranks, allows more torque in your pedaling in addition to other scientific benefits I can't remember off the top of my head. Not that that matters to me, I just chose parts on how what I feels best to ride. 172.5s have always been my favorite length. I imagine if I was taller I would probably even up to 175.

That beautiful paint job and those aero seat stays make me almost 100% certain that this is the frame I purchased from Alain of SuperMakuri back in 2008.
I would appreciate any info you or its current owner could provide me with.
