32 Mars Luxus tandem

very lucky find. These folding tandems are rare! In the 70's it was delivered with a Automatic rear hub and with a tiny front brake, costing about 400DM, more than twice what a comparable folding bike cost! The tandem can be dissasembled (without tools) and assembled without the middlepart to make it like a normal folding bike! Picked it up without tires and a very small child seat for the captain. Directly changed the single-speed rearwheel to one with a Duomatic.

Current Stage Info:

Changed the front wheel to one with a drumbrake and assembled a way stronger brake, changed the (captain-)stem 'cause the old one had a crack and mounted a way more comfortable leather saddle
