Not a prototype but definately one of the early release models that was pre-ordered and delivered some time in March of 2009. Took a while to build it up, a year to be exact. A well thought out build with unique and rare components. A lot of love and patience went into so it is pretty much kept for show making an occasional appearance in local rides and events. Much respect to Keirin Cycles for helping me put together a one of a kind.

How tall are you?looks like its a 55 even a 53?

I'm 5'8. It looks like a 55 but its a 53. The Mash runs large due to the steep seat tude angle.

question. first, I noticed your stem seems to have a steeper grade than necessary. Is this on purpose? and if so, what purpose? I ask because it seems like, lowering the stem a little and going with less of a rise would give you the same bar position, but more of an aerodynamic feel/look. sorry to bug you. just curious. Love the build.

It is definately on purpose taking my height and reach into consideration. I also like the fact that the stem angle flows with the pursuit angle of the top tube. Thanks for the comp...

hey. you said you have a beater leader. will you upload it ?? nice mash btw, love the photos, and one more thing, can i use bladed spoke if im using a normal hub? (chub, soma, etc)

you can, if you use hoshi bladed spokes. Like the ones Ian used; HOWEVER, they stopped making them so theyre are damn near impossible to find.

It's a shame that such nice parts are being used as just a show bike. Especially those Phil's. As for the frame, meh, there's enough MASH's being ridden already. Great build though.

When I first heard that Cinelli was building an all new street track frame I new it was going to be special. What made it even more special and significant was the fact that it was in collaboration with Mash and Benny Gold who is one of the best graphic designers out there. Much anticipated, highly sought after and respected when it first hit the streets and of course highly debated. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I'm just glad that I still own one of the original Mash. Other manufacturers have since copied the design and even Cinelli has added a few more versions but to me they got it right the first time. Not to take anything away from the current models, I just think the original will go down as the most coveted. That's one of the reasons why I built it up the way I did to compliment an already great looking frame with quality parts that will only add to the value and appreciation for my Mash.
