Do you ever do gravel/mixed terrain stuff on this thing? I'm getting Jeremy's (jerry folks from the boards) CAAD10 this month and am hoping it won't be too nuts on Leif Erickson and Saltzman. Cheers!

It's really stiff and pretty harsh but I've never had an aluminum road bike so it may just be a first impression. I am going to mess with different saddles and seatposts so those could take care of it. With this rim and tire combo I've ridden bark and some gravel as well and it's awesome, I say you're good on gravel with the right tires. I really love this thing, Cannondale geometry is awesome.

That's the plan! I have a Ritchey WCS carbon post I'm going to try. It's nice that this frame takes a 27.2 post because anything bigger would just add to the overall stiffness of the ride. A 27.2 makes so much sense, compliant and light.

See photos for gravel/mixed-terrain riding set-up. Did a 5000ft logging road ride up Capitol Peak on a road double/road tires recently. Was delightful!

I've got like a two month window between when my roadie will be built up and when I'm moving, so I'm trying to ride the fuck out of PNW while I'm still here haha. Are you gonna make it down to PDX this summer?

When/where are you moving?!
Hell yeah I'm out of school June 12th, I'll get down there! I want to ride to the falls from Portland, just anything!

Halifax, NS. I'm going to NSCAD. Winters will suck, but from what I've heard, riding there is crazy beautiful.

I'm out of class the same week. Lemme know when you can come down!
