More Info:
The original manufacture of the bike is still not clear. It is from Germany what you can see at the bb/ crank (so called "Glockenlager" - what means "bell-bracket" in English). The bike unfortunately has been repainted by a previous owner but it's fitted with a lot of original parts. The hubs are F&S (Fiechtel-Sachs) "Torpedo" with backpedal / coaster -brake. It's the first update version of the very first Torpedo hub from 1904! The metal stick on the back hub is ment for getting on the bike by standing with one feet on the stick and pushing with the other feet the bike forward then you jump on the saddle and start to pedal - but I never do this! The front brake is a "standing-brake", it's only for keeping the bike in position while standing. Maybe the rims are not original but although it's a rare size (40x635).It needs some practice to ride this cycle: you almost stand on the bike and don't have a lot space to steer, and the distance between the wheels is quite large - but it's great fun. You are above of everything because of the high position.

There was a question how it rides I errased as a mistake.
It is a weird geometry; the handling is more like a cruiser but the bike's lots faster - so you have to be careful in traffic - breaking needs some practice too. It's in great shape and a pleasure to ride - only bad thing: it's so antique that I'm always afraid of a damage...
