I'm quite happy with it. I have not bought it directly in china. I'm sure the guy who imports and brands them does some kind of quality control.
Stiffness is good from what i can tell. It has got good tire clearance my tires are around 28mm on this rim.
I got a good deal on the frame. If you're from europe check out his website vpace.de. He has even some very nice titanium frames which would be perfect as a winter bike.
