Frame # W31900934 indicates it was built at the Raleigh / Carlton frame shop in Worksop England. Frame was cleaned by high pressure soda ash then re-chromed and repainted including gold line around the Nervex lugs. Reynolds 531 throughout.
Campagnolo Nuevo Record hubs refurbished with NOS Mavic 27 1 1/4” clincher rims and new spokes. Very nice Soma Tires.
Campagnolo headset with Cinelli stem, Giro D’Italia bars. Campagnolo bottom bracket.
Campagnolo long arm Rallye Derailleurs and Campagnolo triple crank #54 outside, #36 inside.
New Brooks Professional top of the line leather saddle and matching Brooks leather handlebar tape. period correct Weinmann center pull brakes.
I bought the bike from Texas bike builder Dan Curry last year and have ridden it inside on a trainer thru the winter although i put an old slick tire on the back. planned on using it for longer rides outside after the pandemic but the bike is slightly big for me and besides it’s so beautiful and immaculate, i don’t want nick the paint.
