~1970 Bottecchia

Bought it last summer from an old fellow clearing their basement as a package with another bike. I originally thought it was a steal - Italian frame for restoration! After some digging, turns out it was the lowest end model sold with little restoration value. The entire driveline and wheels were rusted/seized and full of cat hair. So I decided to strip the frame and rebuild to a single-speed. Only the frame, fork and bars were reused along with the headset. The races were in good condition so the bearings were replaced. Respaced the rear stays to 120mm and bought some reasonably priced 27" wheels.
