1980's Panasonic Track 1000

Another swap meet gem. I went there looking for a vintage track frame and found this complete for $250. At first I was going to completely NJS it out. But since the frame isn't NJS I decided against it. Pushing the bike it seemed like it would need alot but once I cleaned it up and repacked the bearings it rode so smooth. Other then the pedals I'm leaving it as is.

Frame:
Panasonic Track 1000

Fork/Headset:
Panasonic/ Stock 80's

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Zeus Track. Not sure of the BB but it's probably Zeus as well.

Pedals:
KKT (Made in Japan). MKS Clips, no straps

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
Suntour NJS 18t Cog, Suntour NJS Lockring/ Zeus 50t/ KMC

Derailleurs/Shifters:
None

Handlebars/Stem:
Nitto Model 155/ Nitto Pearl Stem

Saddle/Seatpost:
Vintage Turbo Bernard Hinault Edition/ No name Post (Made in Japan)

Brakes:
None.

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Vintage Araya/ Vintage Sunshine / Continental Ultra Sport or 1/8th inch Julian/ Origin 8/ Continental Ultra Sport

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Vintage Araya/ Vintage Sunshine / Continental Ultra Sport

Accessories:
Cat Eye Cotton Tape with Vintage Cat Eye bar ends. (Japan)

More Info:
I wanted to do a Vintage build and this is almost exactly what I wanted. I planned on upgrading everything to NJS but the only thing I will probably do is throw the Sugino Crankset Mighty Crankset/Chainring I have, and a Kashimax saddle so everything would have been made in Japan.

This pic was right after I bought it, so I didn't get to take off the brake.
