1982 Schwinn World Tourist

A gift from an elderly friend who no longer rides. Giant built for Schwinn in 1980s. Found bike uncomfortable ride as stock due to drop stem putting north road style bars below seat level for my seat height. Ride style like Raleigh Sport.

More Info:
Great riding bike once upgraded with modern parts. 700c tires are better than 27 1/4". Removed tire powered dynamo and installed hub generator. Light weight bike that is easy to maneuver and put on transit bus rack. With generator lights I use this as my daily commuter. Added racks are minimalist. Photos show bike as it has evolved.
