Bought at a thrift store for thirty; Couldn't save the paint/decals so I rattlecanned it; Swapped out saddle, stem, handlebar, shifters, brake levers.

Frame:
1989 Specialized Rockhopper, 19", chromoly steel

Fork/Headset:
Specialized Rockhopper, 1"

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Shimano Mountain LX triple

Pedals:
Basic cage/clip

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
Shimano 21 speed (pronounced "ree-LYE-ub-bull")

Derailleurs/Shifters:
Shimano Mountain LX der's and Suntour Power thumb shifters (clickety click!)

Handlebars/Stem:
Control Tech 1" quill stem; Black steel riser bar

Saddle/Seatpost:
Serfas saddle; Original seatpost

Brakes:
Mountain LX canti's and c. 1992 Deore DX brake levers (modified Deore DX STI's with shifter pods cut off and levers polished).

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Alloy hub/rims; OEM from 1989

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Alloy hub/rims; OEM from 1989

Accessories:
Tools

More Info:
Very comfortable and dependable; Heavy sombitch, tho. Sold this bike earlier in 2016. The Deore DX levers mated to the Mountain LX cantis produced perhaps the greatest braking feel I've ever had on a bicycle.
