No idea. Somebody guessed 6,5kg last weekend but probably more than 7kg. Been meaning to weight the bike for a while now, perhaps it actually needs to be done.

Amazing, but the Easton set up doesn't do it for me. Especially the riser set up. Other than that, solid.

Posted over 10 years ago

FFF

FFF says:

More classic setup with aluminum post and drop bar might look better buy certainly won't feel like it.
Bike's ridden in the city and the carbon dampens vibration of the otherwise very stiff frame and makes the ride enjoyable even in cobbles.
Someday I'll build as it should but that's probably the day I stop riding it frequently..

FFF says:

I found something that I like at least..
It's not SUL, don't know if it's cromoto either since it doesn't have the hashtag inside the clamp like the ones of the voluntary recall. Anyways.. This stem was made to this bike. Can't even find a picture of a similar stem with goggl srch.
some rare shit :D

sealed says:

Love the Cannondale photoshoot.

Ever try to find a Salsa SUL quill or a Nitto Crystemblue?

Posted over 10 years ago

FFF

FFF says:

I've been looking into salsa stems but can't seem to decide what to pick as a permanent choice. Crystemblue is very nice but out of my price range and I'm not sure how it would fit with the big raggedy look of the 'dale.

The ritchey stem was both temporary and horrible and was there only for a day or too since I didn't have anything else to put on the bike having sold the previous stem. Salsa quill with a face plate would be nice..

Well the season for this bike has anyways almost come to an end so soon it's time to deassemble it on the shelf to wait for spring. During winter I have time to decide what direction I want to go with the cockpit.

such a beautiful frame.
you shouldn't ever repaint it because it has such great character and that color is too pretty.

Posted almost 11 years ago

FFF

FFF says:

Don't worry wasn't planning repainting the frame for two reasons:

1. I love it beat up like that. This bike is meant to be ridden with and not kept on the wall and as it's already beautifully chipped I don't have to worry about chipping a mint frame for the first time.

2. Re-making the beautiful blue would probably be very hard if not impossible even if I took the frame to a shop and I'd also face the problems mentioned in reason one.

It shall remain original.
