Ususally I'm not much of a fan on the black accents of this color scheme but your setup makes it seem to click! Exceptional build. Gotta love the Langsters ;)

i wanted a good bike that handles well on the velodrome, and the fact it is also looking good adds to the pleasure of riding it.

I would have prefer a different color disc wheel, but it is free to use as it is owned by my racing team.

Hi Guillaume,

How is this Langster S Works ?

I've the regular (2009) alu this is a really "slow" bike not aggressive at all so I use it in the winter... But I've heard good things about the S-Work, how much did you pay for it ?

Le vélodrome est bien à bordeaux ? :P

Why don't you just gear up from your 42x16? And change your wheelset? Youll be equal as fast

so far, I love it.

I am not racing a lot at the Velodrome and last year, I only raced 3 events (200m launched +pursuit 2km + course aux points 10k). The bike is very versatile. It is a good all rounder.

last week I had 49*15 and could have used the 14 as we were sprinting quite a bit.

I paid 650 euros for it. the frame and the seat were slightly used but the wheelset, the crank, the chain, the drops, the stem, the seatpost were brand new.

oui le vélodrome ici est génial ! il ferme pour 1 mois à partir de cette semaine pour la trêve hivernale. Il me tarde la reprise fin novembre.

Also, for the race, I have a Campagnolo disc wheels with track specific tubular that helps quite a lot with maintaining constant high speed for a few laps.

Nice bike! Love the wheel set! Now that is what I call track chain tension! haha! Nice set up never the less! :-)

Guillaume says:

haha, the chain tension wasn't obviously adjusted at the time of the picture. I threw some wheels on it for the picture as the bike is stored in the garage without the wheels on.
