why did you decide to make the chain stays so long?

i know youre super tall, so does it give you better stability? what frame did you have them model this after?

The chain stays aren't long at all actually. 450mm is pretty proportional for a larger road bike, and about right for touring.

There was no other frame or geometry this was modeled after. All the dimensions down to tube thicknesses were decided by myself and Gene Spicer, the builder.

I was just wondering why you didn't choose to build it a bit tighter geo in the back.

Haha, well, I don't know; I'm not sure why I would chose to do that.

It's a 67cm frame, I'm 6'7" so it fits me well, I'm just playing with some different stems to get the fit right.
