Frame and fork both manufactured in the United States in the mid to late 90's. The frame is unbranded because it's a factory replacement due to a broken shifter boss. Between the time the original bike was purchased and the frame was replaced Fuji had switched from a polished finish to a brushed finish. Hence the polished fork and brushed frame. I was able to find a few examples online both of the polished and unpolished iterations. I believe the bike was manufactured by Titanium Sports Technologies (TST)/Sandvik in their Kennewick, Washington facility.

Wow, yes! Thanks for noticing and making the connection. Everything I've shot in the last 12 months is sitting undeveloped in my refrigerator. I actually just dropped off a test roll with a new developer so hopefully updates soon. It has been too long! Peace -

Thank you, you have some pretty drool worthy builds yourself. I really need to take some better pictures of this bike. As for the 7400, it's possibly my favorite group of all time. I'm building up a Gianni Motta Personal 2001r Fly with a NOS group as we speak.

Any idea who built the frames in the US for Fuji? I want to say Waterford but not really sure. Great looking bike by the way.I like how you say you love the noise. I'm the same way with my Campy rear . Love that clicking noise!! Cheers

I'm not sure where they were made, it's stamped "Made in the USA" on BB with serial number but no indication of manufacturer. The welds are incredible though, some of the best I've ever seen. I actually read an excerpt from an old edition of bicycle magazine explaining how it was one of the first unpainted Ti frames because they wanted to show off the welds. It's a on the heavy side but it gets the job done and can sure take a beating.

Pretty sure Waterford has never made ti frames, or anything outside of steel, in the history of the company. Litespeed and Sandvik/TST made ti frames for GT in the 90's. My money would be on one of them having made this Fuji.

stalag13, I believe you are correct with your Sandvik/TST comment. Still not 100% but I've read about a Fuji Ti Pursuit that was confirmed built by TST in the early 90's. So I would say it is very likely.

What do you think of those hubs? all builders i have spoke to say they're all kinds of amazing and they're quickly replacing the r45 as the go-to high end hub. but they're loud as fuck.

I'll preface by saying that this is the first nice pair of hubs I've ever had or even ridden for that matter. That being said, I absolutely love them, they're so smooth, the engagement is instantaneous and although the pictures don't do it justice, the anodizing is killer. They're a bit loud but after doing a decent amount of research on american made hubs I found that most made a good amount of noise; they're quieter than Zipps but that's not saying much. Personally I like the sound. Hope that helps

Thanks! just ordered them laced to Pacenti SL23's with Sapim spokes (20/28). Should make for some pretty stiff wheels.
