this thing built up yet? if not, go vintage: Gipiemme/Zeus/old Mavic/Stronglight.

strange says:

its not...vintage may be a god idea. i thought of building it up like: black crank, black velocity rim on the rear and black aerospoke in front..but well..thats very hipster...

Ever tried Pure Phil wood components? Super smooth, slick, and rides like beast with them. My bike is all Phil wood (BB,both hubs, lockring, & chainring). I have a Miche Primato crank on mine but a Sugino 75 would look best for this bike. Try all black cranks if possible.

damn. I saw a guy sold his black phil wood hubs brand new with receipt for 250. I hate it when those good deals come around when you don't need them. Campagnolo hub set would actually look best since this frameset is more vintage and they are lighter than the phil wood hubs but of course they come with a pricier tag. :(.
