Batavus Randonneur GL

My rebuilt randonneur bike for longer distance commuting, and (loaded) touring. The bike was probably built somewhere between 1982 and before 1989 with parts indicating a 1985 date.

Frame:
Batavus Randonneur GL. Reynolds 531ST, size 64cm

Fork/Headset:
Reynolds 531 fork with IRD Double Roller Drive threaded headset

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Modified Specialites TA 'Cyclotouriste' with vintage tandem bashguard

Pedals:
MKS Urban platform EZY Superior with half-clips

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
52/42/26T chainring with SRAM PG-990 9-speed 11-34T cassette. KMC x9 EcoProTeq chain

Derailleurs/Shifters:
Sachs Huret New Success Touring front and rear with Rivendell 'Silver Shifter'

Handlebars/Stem:
Vintage aluminum randonneur handlebars with Nitto Technomic stem

Saddle/Seatpost:
Lepper Tourer Honey saddle with vintage SR seatpost

Brakes:
Front: Dia-Compe 980 (new) cantilevers with KoolStop dual compound thinlines Rear: Tektro CR710 cantilever with KoolStop dual compound pads

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
36H H Plus Son TB14 rim with SP dynamo hub and Schindelhauer/Continental Grand Prix Urban 35-622 tyres

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
36H H Plus Son TB14 rim with SunXCD high flange cassette hub and Schindelhauer/Continental Grand Prix Urban 35-622 tyres

Accessories:
Weinmann 'Inoxydable' stainless steel fenders, Velo Orange Campeur front rack, B+M IQ-X front light and B+M Secula Plus fender mounted rear light. Spurcycle bell, TimTas Rek front rando bag and Carradice Super-C rear saddle bag.
