Bottecchia Mavic Team Malvor SPX 1987

I've always loved Mavic components right from the first time I saw an ad in Cycling (or the Comic as it was called back in the late 70's) for the very first pre- SSC all silver 801 rear mech together with the band on f/mech and the now legendary retrofriction levers which I later found out were made by Simplex. I was the first one to get these in my club - though to be honest the main reason I bought them was because it was all my paper round money could afford at the time. And of course I was into design related objects and engineering which these had in spades.
