I built that same frame, it's outstanding. The carbon main triangle is smooth, so don't spare any expense if you can help it.

Yes, Robbie this is my second Cannondale , my first being a 08 SystemSix, I sold it 2 years ago and have been wanting another one a few weeks later ! I have had a couple of Ti rides , sold them after a year to get back on to a carbon, I then bought a Scott CR1 , the rear derailleur was destroyed after a few weeks and non repairable, so here I'am once again . I would like to do all Sram Red , but it is a budget build with the left over component's from the Scott
