The Colnago Oval CX is one of the offsprings of the first big wave of aerodynamic bike-building in the early 1980s. The tubes have been ovalised by Columbus and all cables were internally routed. This model has only been built for a short period of time and this is pretty rare. Colnago Oval CX bikes are as scarce as a hen's teeth. You practically never see them.This bike is outfitted with the best groupset of its time, the Campagnolo Super Record. The frame itself is simply stunning. The ovalised tubes with their special lugs are amazing enough without the special surface. Blue cromovelato, the translucent paint, give the bike a dazzling glow.
