Gardin Tri Bike

Made of French Excell double butted chromoly tubing in the frame and fork. Excell was notable for using super high strength, heat treated steels to produce very thin wall, steel tubesets. They even marketed a carbon reinforced, brazeable tubeset. This tubing is quite rare and uncommon, as is the reverse bend in the seat tube…I am told this was to give the frame a unique triathlon geometry to sit the rider further forward. Has nice welding to finish a beautiful seat cluster top of the seat stays, and a nice narrow rounded fork.
