Frameset was bought on retrogression in 2020. I painted the “lug” areas myself, simply threw acrylic paint on top. Diamond shaped tubes on down tube, top tube, and seat stays.

Chinese carbon 50mm, chinese road hub 24h replaced with acer bearings, sapim laser, sapim nipple washers.

Chinese carbon 50 mm, ridea hub 28h, sapim laser, sapim nipple washers

the rims were 400 total, i added sapim hm nipple washers to increase strength. this is my go to carbon setup: chinese rims + nipple washers + sapim spokes. total cost me around 700, which is an unbeatable price for a handbuilt carbon set. i try to advocate this route to people, especially if you are trying carbon for first time. its is the best bang for your buck wheelset option that exists in my opinion.
weight hovers around 14.5 lbs - 15.5 lbs depending if i put carbon parts on or not.

Crankset is bonkers! Also looks like you sanded down the stem and added some fluting to the crank arms!? How did you manage to remove the anodizing? I'd like to do this to some modern SRAM road cranks or something.

the fluting is how the cranks are. they are ridea cranks. i got a pack of sandpaper drill attachments with a range of grits, along with mother’s metal polish.

Next time you're deanodizing, and if you haven't already, I'd highly recommend using oven cleaner. Worked just like paint stripper used to. Used it on some cranks and it came out great. Easily saved time over just sanding.

the orange elox seatpost doesn't match with the gold and bicolor isn't my thing but in all black it looks extremly good! It the frame Lugged or did you just do this paintstyle?
