Newer shamal wheels can handle 9/10 speeds... those are Vento 16HP wheels... they are basically a shamal rim labeled as a Vento because they have Chorus hubs... I have the same wheels on my Vitus 992 but acutally prefer 8-speed so I bought a new record titanium 8-speed cassette that comes factory spaced for 9/10 speed hubs...
