i understand you can't fix aluminum because of the metal properties and how it would weaken it, but I'm almost sure he could take this to either a frame builder or a special aluminum shop and have them do a filler or something that would tack to the aluminum. just saying "you can't fix aluminum frames" is too vague because there is usually always someone who knows how to manipulate a certain material in a manner that won't be dangerous to use. plus it's not like dude is on the track that if the metal wasn't 100% would get bit some type of stupid wind lag or flex or something that would even affect his riding.like i said, i wonder if theres some type of epoxy fill or something like that that you could at least make it look right again?

i'd ask around, still.

I was gonna have one of my guys at my job fix but i didnt want to waste the time in fixing it this is my beater and i just want to leave it this way i dont ride on the track haha and i dont feel anything wrong with the bike the top tube didnt bend so the the other side of the tube is still straight and flat so it just looks bad but i dont mind not like im trying to impress anyone, i like the bike and it rides great :)
