This is my do-it-all bike, named after the famous Filipino Christmas dessert "puto bumbong" because of its ube-like frame color. I tried to build it as cheaply as possible while keeping it reliable. Most of the parts like the seatpost, bars, pedals, and cranks were given to me by my friends (huge thanks to them!), and the rest came from my previous builds. I use it for commuting, long rides, and even as a training bike when I need to prepare for endurance rides. It handles great in the city and on open roads, comfortable to ride, yet stiff enough when you want to go fast. I’m planning to swap the fork for one with a more aggressive rake to tighten up the wheelbase and make it feel more responsive.
