Never been a fan of rear brakes on fixed gears. But because I use this for sportives where everybody else ride geared bikes, I need to be able to brake like them. And due to arthritis, my knees started complaining, so I thought I better listen to them, and use a rear brake instead of my legs.

Yeah, arthritis is why I gave up fixed riding altogether. My knees clicked for a month after the last time I rode fixed.
