thanks man... yea, this was my street fixie. at one point it was the only bike i owned after i crashed my road bike, (thats the state with 2 brakes and freewheel) because my knee was really damaged after my crash so i couldnt skid.

Which headset was better for you: Can Creek or Chris King? I though about getting King, but then there's some big discussion about the Cane Creek 110.

Unclip says:

You can never go wrong with a chirs king. I have never ridden with the cane creek 110, but I have heard good things about it :)

nagillum says:

so you run 51:14 for a daliy ride? i guess no skidding, 95 gear inches must hurt the knees...haha

Posted over 11 years ago

Unclip

Unclip says:

It's actually 98 gear inches. And I don't have a problem skidding. Not to be cocky or anything. I have to agree that, it's a dumb ratio, but it makes flat rides/ downhill rides really enjoyable.

nagillum

nagillum says:

yeah its an odd ratio, to be riding... like on my schwinn i ride 48:17 which makes a good acceleration and for skid stops. i think if you put a 17t on the rear it be more reasonable...

Its defiantly a 56. Its Jdawg4334s old bike. Ask him if you want.

To borrow or to keep?

Posted over 11 years ago

Unclip

Unclip says:

Most likely to keep. He has his KHS. I will have to give it back when he gets his bike painted by Mike's Bikes. But other than that, its mine to keep.

SillyGooseCookie

SillyGooseCookie says:

Isn't it a little too small though?

I actually just rode it, it feels good. Made some adjustments to the saddle high. Its not as bad as I thought it was going to be.
