The drops are meant to be almost horizontal, and the forces are transferred through your radius more efficiently as well as allowing for increased stability. Also decrease the amount of fatigue on your elbow extensors.

Holy seatpost! Crazy drop angle, I would just straighten out my bars, it would make a big difference in riding, looks killer though!
