This might be an awkward question, but is this the regular "Blue" color on the Pelizzoli Leggenda website? Or is it a custom shade? I am looking into getting one of these for myself.

It's not custom. I think it's called "exciting blue" or something along those lines. I can definitely recommend it as an awesome frame :)

Another question if you don't mind, did you get this with the "tight clearances" option? Do you know the difference between tight clearances and regular clearances? Thanks a lot!

pjlnh says:

yes, it's the track geometry model (tight clearances). i don't know the exact differences, but i'm guessing that the street (regular) geometry model has more relaxed geometry and is more comfortable to ride. i always wanted to ride mine on the track, but i never did. i love riding it on the streets, but i wouldn't want to do more than 30 miles or so on it.

Kinda surprized to hear it rides so hard. I just scored a 2006 Trek aluminum and it rides almost as smooth as my old steel Bianchi but is lighter and stiffer. That's still a great looking ride.

It's not bad. I don't feel it at first, but after 10-15 miles I feel a bit more fatigued (sore ass) than I do on my steel bikes. But yeah, it's still awesome :)

Great detailing on this one. The rounding of the frame connections match the hubs beautifully!

These frames are incredible looking. And you've done nothing but made it better. This is a great machine.

thanks, man! i love this bike. and i've really been liking the dura ace wheelset on it. the 49/17 gear ratio is a little more gear than i generally like to ride, but it makes this bike shine. it's very stiff and all the power goes straight to the pedals... and that's even more evident with the tougher gear ratio.

aww sorry to hear that... Why not try clipless pedal? Some Ultegra or Look pedals will be cool in this setup. Btw, check out my bike ;D

pjlnh says:

I worry about riding clipless pedals on my brakeless bikes. If I accidentally came unclipped for some reason it could be very bad news. i've got nice strong leather straps holding me in on this and my other brakeless bikes and i feel a little more confident that way. However, I've got Look pedals on my road bike and I like them a lot on there.
