Nice bike, what is the crank arm on the drive side set up for? It looks a little unusual.

Thanks Dave,
I have a wrecked knee from a motorcycle accident when I was young. The crank modification, along with the placement of the cleat on my shoe makes for a more comfortable over the top rotation, with the limited range of motion I have. It's not perfect yet but the set up on this bike and my road bike keep me riding.
P.S. Viewed your page. Nice Ordinary! I am re-building a 48" reproduction. I can't wait to ride it!
Cheers!
