The day I'm no longer riding this bike better be the day I'm dead.
Custom drilled and painted 3T stem with integrated cable routing to act as a hanger for the front brake, this version was repainted and adapted and slightly simplified with a frame cable stop to smooth out the lever feel and tidy it up including aligning the cable to the head tube, stay tuned for a proper version two.
Left shifter fully gutted, shift mechanisms removed to only be a brake lever. Right shifter internals upgraded from Rival to Red.
Matching red shift and brake cable housing.
Upgraded rear DT Swiss hub ratchet rings from 18T to 54T.
10 speed ain't dead, steel is real, etc etc

Very nice. Any chance to get a pic of the "integrated" cable routing.
Where do you enter the stem and how is it "fixed" at the exitpoint?

Added photos to the initial build history, in the first version the cable housing ended behind the face plate and the brake cable entered a section of small PVC pipe epoxied in that acted as a cable stop and exited below from a small hole. New version uses a frame cable stop part that is seated into a larger hole in the bottom of the stem, this allows the normal cable housing to enter the stem and finish at the cable stop, simplifying and smoothing out lever feel. I was inspired by the Enve/Speedvagen cross stem that I saw on the Radavist back in 2013!
