More Info:
The frame was purchased NOS from eBay during COVID as a project to stop me going nuts with boredom, originally built with a used 105 R5800 groupset, a generic aluminium finishing kit, cheap wheels, and an unbranded steel fork. 10 minutes into its maiden voyage, I fell in love with the feel, and at the same time, I realised I'd made a huge mistake, I'd not done the frame justice, so over time, I collected what I thought would be the right components, some new, some used that would make it the best it could be (in my opinion), and finally last month (April 2026) I felt I had taken it as far and as modern as I could without going electronic (which I didnt want to do), and made the finishing touch by painting the fork, stem, and seatpost to match. I have a carbon electronic, hydraulic, aero, light....etc. road bike and I love it. But no bike I've ever owned or built makes me smile as much (or turns as many heads) as my Smoothie.
