Squid Tarckwondo Lava

What's not to love? Tire clearance, dirt, all road machine. Locally handmade in Sacramento, all around good people to support. After riding and owning so many track frames. You end up just wanting something that fits exactly your riding style. That means no compromises, no more need to figure out "which bike should I ride today"? One that can crush it on pavement and gravel. All road ripper, the spirit of tracklograv lives. Initially this bike started out raw since I didn't have an idea of how I wanted the Squid team to paint it. Then an idea came about after seeing a GT Karakoram in a similar colorway but not quite the same. I pitched the idea over to the Squid team with some sample pictures. Kenny @ Squid did a few different variations on my test can and it came out perfect.

(Will upload pics soon)

Pulled a bunch of parts off the Squid for a new frame that I’ve held onto for awhile. With that being said the Squid will be turned into a knobby tire, wide bar dirt cruiser.

What I pulled off the Squid;
- 75 DD2’s
- Blue Lug Aarn
- Cockpit
- HiFi Wheelset

Luckily I had most of the parts to rebuild the Squid;
- Square Tapered Black 75’s
- Aarn 47T Black
- Silver Nitto UI-12 / For Shreds
- 20T Retrogression Cog
- Light Bicycle AR45 laced to Raketa Hubs
- Simworks Beatnik Seatpost

Some of the remaining smaller parts should arrive this week and I’ll be able to complete the re-build.

Amazing! Any details on these "Carbon Shallow Gravel Drops" (Brand etc.). Seems like very "small" drop and flair.

Hi, these are genuinely generic carbon gravel drops without a name that you can purchase off AliEx. If you just search carbon gravel drops you’ll be able to quickly identify them. They’re the ones with the most shallow drop out of them all.

I really like these bars, I run them on all of my drop bar bikes.
