Modified front hanger by drilling out the barrel adjuster threads, and replacing it with the ferrule from a tektro rear hanger to make as much room for the cable as possible.

Diggin it, man. 42x17 is my preferred 700C SS as well. I have a spare 18 if the ride will be extra steep, but I've rarely been inspired to pull it out. Someday I'll get a White Industries Duo FW I think.

Thank you. Yeah, 45x17 with road slicks, 42 or lower with wider rubber works well.

Really good. It's nice to have a freewheel that is as precise as all the other moving parts. A Shimano will do the job but it's not the same

Looks awesome. Mine started out as a very similar build - personally couldn't deal with the pursuit bars for anything 50k+ though

I've switched to FSA Omega Compacts and S500 levers. Will be updating with tons of pics as soon as my new wheels are built. I've changed 90% of the parts since this photo was taken.
