Umberto Dei was famous for roadbikes before WW II. after 1946 they produced tourist bikes and commuters mainly. But also some roadbikes (superleggera) and condorino were build for enthusiasts. These are relatively rare. This one is of 1955/56. Not sure whether painting is original. Normally these frames were coloured green or light green. Equipped with Campagnolo Grand Sport, Simplex crankset, original Universal steel brakes and (newer) Universal brake levers.
