how's it ride? i've been thinking about getting the complete from sgv. Get much chain noise or creaking in the crankset?

good to hear! the retrospec gets quite a bit of noise so i wasn't sure if the sgv components were causing it.

well i know the stuff on the unknown is a little nicer than what comes on the retrospec bikes so you should be good. i was just curious :)

Thanks, whole bike for 550 is not bad, considering I might be spending 400 on the Dolan frameset alone.

Dolan has terrible customer service and if they send you the wrong frame they'll totally deny it..

@greasemonkey666, Oh really? Ive never had to deal directly with their customer service, because I bought the frame through a third party called dpm sports, but its unfortunate to hear that.
