26mm Handlebars in 25.4 Stem?

(closed)
Would it work out? Want to replace my stem but cant find the right clamp size. Let know! Thanks.

I'll be using a Thomson Elite.

Also, if you have, or know anyone with a BLACK 15 Degree Thomson Elite 90mm stem with a 26 clamp size that's for sale, LET ME KNOW! I'll buy it lol.

Best thing to do is just get the right size bars with the right size stem. Yes you will be able to use the 26.0 bars on your 25.4 stem but there is a chance to spread the clamp and stress the face plate. But I have done with before no issues. Just don't over torque it.

to add onto what benson said, it would work, but it also has the potential to gouge some nice scratches into your bars...
