Cinelli Mash

(closed)
Do you guys never get tired of all the idiotic Cinelli Mash bikes on this site?
I mean. They are everywhere! And the look like crap! Bad components and they are always to big for the people who buys them. It's like the number one bike for people with bad taste.

I wish there were more of:
- vintage Colnago pista and road bikes
- Carbon road bikes
- "Track" track bikes
- clipless
- chicks on bikes
- Ciocc pista and road bikes
- Mid 80's Pinarello's

But that's just me.

I hate seeing pedals like those on bikes that aren't meant for fgfs. Or when you see some dumb kid with no brakes and no foot retention -_____-

@betenoire: because this is a forum and forums are about people's opinions—even yours. : )

@Tracker: I guess that's what velospace is for. But there are a few bikes from my list, I just want to see more so I can procrastinate from doing any actual work.

I don't know. The Mash is a nice frame and there are quite a few I've seen on Pedal Room that look good. I guess it's just a matter of opinion.

It's not just a mather of opinion. It's bad taste.
People don't know how to dit there bike. That goes for allmost everybody ho owns Mash.
(if you own a Mash, and feel treatet wrong, don't worry. You are 75% All right)

The Mash frames are awesome. It's the kids that have to much money, and associate the frame with the movies that make them look like shit.

Mash frames in general:

Its a faux pursuit frame. Its got some flex for such a beefy frame. Its over branded. The welds are about as crap as a Low.

Its shite. And people have bought into it just because its a Mash branded frame. Which is fine, but its still shite.

Stuff like this is really unnecessary. Who gives a fuck if someone's bike isn't up to your standards, I'm more concerned about people getting miles in and enjoying themselves. And if they're just in it for the trend, who cares? They'll just make themselves look stupid in the end, no need to waste your time bashing them.

That histogram with the slammed seat is probably the worst one out of all of them. I feel bad for the guy. Spending all that money without really knowing what the hell he is doing. That right there is what makes a bike look like shit. Not knowing what you're doing..At least i think so anyway. Then again some people just have bad taste. I get a lot of shit for using a retention system that's meant for FGFS, and yeah aesthetically it makes the build look off but i find them more comfortable than using track pedals with toe clips and double straps.

It not just taste. Its bad riding posture that will affect your knees, back, and arms. Straight riding or tricks, watch how people you respect have their bikes set up–the bikes are sized properly.

@MustangWolf Yeah that's what i meant by him not knowing what he's doing. The frame is obviously not his size. Which is a bummer because of how expensive it is and it pretty much being unrideable.

".... The welds are about as crap as a Low."

is this a joke? Andrew's welds are pretty much picture perfect... comparing a mash weld with a low is a bit over the top.

since when are the welds crappy? you really don't know what you're talking about. only "crap" welds exist on low end frames, which the mash is not.
