fake pinarello pista or NOT fake pinarello pista...

(closed)
hey everybody. ive sold my pinarello pista frame on ebay about 5 month ago. this week the seller contacts me and said that the frame is fake, cause there are no panthos on the frame itself (not even the special pinarello bird). i still believe its a real pinarello, cause fork is panthographed. pictures of the bike are still on my profile.

perhaps someone can help.

Where exactly is he expecting pantographed markings? I commonly see them on the on top of the seatstays, though there are plenty of Pinarellos I've seen without them.

well. the problem is the frame doesnt have any panthos. i personally think the dropouts look a lot like the onces pinarello used, but well...

I've seen them near the seatstays :/ Do you think its a fake frame? How long did you own it?

well..about 3 month. bought it from an old guy who rode it on the track. the builded parts were in great condition so its hard to believe its a fake frame.

i´ve seen some pina frames like yours without the stamps.
i guess it´s an original PINA frame, no fake.
on the other hand i would say if he bought it about 5 months ago it´s a bit to late to bring it right back to you?! isn´t it?

Also, he had pictures during the sale and could have asked questions about the "pantoing" before making the purchase. I would say the guy is SOL.

eBay only allow no longer than a week or a month for a person to get their money back. He brought it. He keeps it. He could be getting over on you by sending you a fake frame back. If he tries to send you to court or anything. You need to check all the eBay rules of selling/buying a item.

he looked at it as soon as he got it and waited this long?
