The new Rings of Saturn album is kick ass!

The new Trapped Under Ice album in my opinion is incredibly weak!

Converge has a new EP, and well it's fucking Converge.

Also, well I kind of dig some mainstream shit and I really like Highly Suspect.

Hell to the nawwww. That new TUI is good...just a little different. I honestly think that they've adopted more of the Angel Du$t sound because of how they've blown up so much the past year. I love Angel Du$t, so TUI's new stuff is alright to my ears ! Their old stuff is great too...they're just switching it up.

If you haven't ridden through sketchy industrial parks at 12am high as a kite while dodging knife wielding meth addicts, with TOOL blasting in your ears, you haven't ridden a bike.

@OutOfStep I'm not trying to hate on it, but it's like if I wanted to listen to Angel Du$t or Turnstile I'll just listen to those bands. Which I happen to like them as well, it's just kind of weak how they put Trapped Under Ice on a five year hiatus to then release their other bands style of music.

Which is whatever, they're allowed to create the style of music however they want! I just was disappointed.

EDIT: Heatwave in my opinion isn't giving the fans from the early days what I'm sure most of us were truly hoping for from the next Trapped Under Ice record. I think it's super cool what they're all doing as a whole (from AD, Turnstile, to the PopWig label) it's definitely something I admire about their whole collective. I'm just a fan from 2008 who noticed TUI this time around was missing what made me vibe with them so hard back in the day of my youth. I still support them though!

P.s I purchase all of my music legitimately too. So should all of you as well!!

I used to listen to a lot of early punk and hardcore...but now I don't like listening to anything. just the sounds of the bike work for me.

yeah i feel all that. I'm personally just not surprised that some of their other bands sound trickled into the new album. and while I agree with you on missing the old stuff, all the new stuff/resurgence of old shit with a twist is really getting me pumped.

and of course...always out at shows and supporting the music.

Usually ipod on shuffle (earphones mostly used instead of bluetooth speaker) on day, but been realising that unconsciously at night I intend to play 90s dark jungle, more specifically the album:

"Exorcise The Demons" - Source Direct

Could be treated as DnB as well, but in both classifications the continuous breaks make me feel it's the action part from a movie. Makes me want to sprint the uphills at times. At night this album because the darkening tone of the tracks (specifically the intro tune) suggests disposal of thoughts of future. I guess.
