All SRAM omniums should be thrown into a melting pot and never seen again. Go with Suntour!

Before I continue, let me say this: my opinion is definitely biased as I've never used Suntour cranks, I have always used Omniums (up until a few weeks ago, when I switched to Dura Ace). From the moment I first installed my first set, I loved them. They were the stiffest cranks I'd ever ridden, bar none. The quality of the crankset was superbe (no pun intended), I'd go so far as to equate the quality of Omniums to Rotor 3D track cranks (which I've ridden as well). If I were you, I'd go with Omniums. But, again, my opinion is biased, so you may not want to listen to me.

You can find a decent set of 7600s or 7710s on eBay for around $150, they're worth every penny.

the superbe pros are definitely nicer looking, and unless you're strong enough to actually flex the crankset and BB of the superbes then there's no reason you shouldn't go for them. same with all cranksets; if you can't flex omniums then there's no point in getting rotors

I dont think I would put omniums on a pista, but if it was a super pista Omniums all day.

I sold my whole 7710 DA crankset for 330... in my opinion great great for the buyer. Amazing stiff crankset and it was pretty smooth

If you've got Sugino 75s already, then just stick with them... They're great cranks. If you still want new cranks, get Dura Ace 7600s.

The DA imo the best track crankset in the market. It has the narrowest Q factor, is extremely stiff, and they're a pretty sight. All my opinions are based mostly on performance though.

omniums are the stiffest and easiest to service (you wont need to service them)

there's no reason to change 75's to 7600 as those are kinda same square taper, 7710 is an upgraded version of 7600's but that octalink bb is a bit pain in the ass. omniums are nice only if your frame fits those. tried all of the cranksets myself, incl superbe, and pretty happy with omniums atm. really love the gxp bb.
